Rev. Pam McMillan began her ministry as the Associate Pastor of Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church in September 2014. Pam came to SPUMC after completing a year long residency as a chaplain at Tampa General Hospital. She went to seminary at Duke Divinity School in Durham, North Carolina, where she was very involved in the student body serving on the Executive Student Council. Pam received her undergraduate degree in Social Work from the University of South Florida in Tampa. She believes that her work as a social worker and a hospital chaplain have equipped her to offer justice and mercy to all God’s children.
Pam has been a life long United Methodist. She was baptized and confirmed at Azalea Park United Methodist Church in Orlando where her parents remain active members. Pam first felt the call to ministry when she served as a camp counselor at Warren W. Willis camp fresh out of High School. After three summers serving at camp, Pam accepted a youth internship at Anona United Methodist Church in Largo, FL. It was at Anona that Pam first began to pursue the call of ordination. Since then, she has been commissioned as a Provisional Elder in the Florida Conference of the UMC.
In her spare time, Pam enjoys exploring new parts of Tallahassee and going on walks in the neighborhood with her dog, Celia.
